Fans have started reacting to it with one fan putting the blame on transfer quarteback Nico Iamaleava. One fan wrote:
“Nico Iamaleava already got his head coach fired.”
“why’d they hire him in the first place is the question”
“What’s the point in firing the coach and keeping the AD?”
“I’m devastated. How could the Bruins make such a shortsighted decision 😭”
“Unfortunate, but he got thrown into an absolute mess of a job.”
“Elite news dump (-2000)✅💰 Wow……… That’s Crazy”
“Dang heads are rolling today!”
“As a proud UCLA alum I am OUTRAGED and APPALLED at the gross mistreatment of this legend! How can UCLA be so impatient? They didn’t even give the man a chance to get his guys in! What a shameful, disgraceful institution. I will be sending my donor dollars elsewhere in the future!” another fan wrote.

DeShaun cites lack of discipline following UCLA’s Week 3 home loss
Following UCLA’s 35-10 home loss to New Mexico, head coach DeShaun Foster cited lack of discipline and execution from the team.
“Not the outcome at all that we wanted, it’s coming down to discipline and execution,” Foster said. “Not executing at a high level and not making plays when we need to. We’re not at our best when our best is needed. We’ve got two weeks to fix this, and just looking forward to this opportunity to get it fixed.”
He admitted that this stretch represents a low for him and the program. In the New Mexico loss, the Bruins allowed 298 rushing yards. That was a recurring issue. Moreover, this season, the Bruins have been flagged often, double-digit penalties in multiple games, costing big yardage.
It remains to be seen if Tim Skipper can revive the program after three straight losses.
