Head coach Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have struggled to find their rhythm this season. The quarterback position, in particular, has been an issue for them. Having lost Shedeur Sanders to the NFL after last season, they have had a rotation of Kaidon Salter, Ryan Staub, and Julian Lewis. Salter was the initial starter but lost his job and Staub started in a 36-20 loss to Houston last week.
Staub did not have a strong game, throwing two interceptions en route to a loss. As a result, a report on Wednesday indicated that the Buffaloes are planning to shift back to Salter as the starting quarterback.

This led to a big reaction from fans on X as many questioned whether Deion Sanders knows what he is doing.
“Genuinely a poverty program,” one fan wrote.
“What a dumpster fire,” one fan commented.
“Jerking his QB’s around is definitely not something a good coach does,” one fan added.
Others reacted with more measured takes about Coach Prime’s decision.
“Prime is raising men. If you don’t meet the standard you don’t play. Lessons were taught and learned. It’s bigger than football,” one fan wrote.
“Clean slate. Let’s work Kaidon Salter,” one fan commented.
“Let’s work K Salt!” one fan added.

Deion Sanders Is Giving Kaidon Salter Another Chance Against Wyoming
Head coach Deion Sanders is giving Kaidon Salter another chance after underwhelming performances in his first two starts. He will get the start against Wyoming on Saturday as the Buffaloes look to stabilize themselves in the Big 12. The game comes before a tough stretch of games over the next five weeks that includes matchups against BYU, TCU, Iowa State, Utah, and Arizona.
Through the first two games of the season, Salter completed 30 of 44 passing attempts for 261 yards and one TD. He did not throw any interceptions but he was sacked three times against Delaware.
