‘Isn’t Realistic’ – Fans Mock FSU Stadium Depiction in EA Sports CFB 26

We are just a couple of days from the release of EA Sports CFB 26, and the video game publisher keeps releasing teasing content for the upcoming title. One of the latest examples is a comparison of Doak Campbell Stadium, the home of the Florida State Seminoles, to the version of the stadium featured in CFB 25.

Some fans joked there was just one problem with the digital recreation of the venue, which is Doak Campbell Stadium is never that full.

“This isn’t realistic, the seats should be empty” wrote one fan.

“wait why do the seats have people sitting in them?” said another.

“So is it actually boxed off like that in real life, like it is in 26? Where the FSU fans that been to the stadium?? 😂” joked someone else.

Memphis Tigers’ fans, however, seemed unhappy that their stadium hasn’t been updated:

“But they cant update Memphis’s renovations🙄” wrote one Tigers fan.

Other fans don’t see many changes, beyond lighting:

“So one is at noon and the other 3pm… Shadows are the only difference I see” claimed one person who didn’t seemed pleased.

“Hell yea they turned the brightness up,” said a fan, clearly happy with the changes.

“Someone fiddled with their tv settings!!” joked another person.

“Hey Siri, turn the brightness up” a fan came up with a common joke.

EA Sports CFB 26 top 10 best-rated players

EA Sports has released the list of the top 100 best-rated players in CFB 26, and in particular, they highlighted the top 10 best-rated players in the game. The list of the top 10 is as follows:

    1. Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State (Big Ten) – WR (98)
    2. Caleb Downs, Ohio State (Big Ten) – S (96)
    3. Anthony Hill Jr., Texas (SEC) – LB (95)
    4. Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame (Independent) – RB (95)
    5. Ryan Williams, Alabama (SEC) – WR (95)
    6. T.J. Parker, Clemson (ACC) – EDGE (95)
    7. Dylan Stewart, South Carolina (SEC) – EDGE (94)
    8. Jermod McCoy, Tennessee (SEC) – DB (94)
    9. Jordeyn Tyson, Arizona State (Big 12) – WR (94)
    10. Kadyn Proctor, Alabama (SEC) – OT (94)

2024 Ohio State true freshman standout Jeremiah Smith is the best-rated player in the game at 98. Unsurprisingly, given the Buckeyes’ status as the current national champions, the second-best player also happens to be from Ohio State. Safety Caleb Downs, who has an overall rating of 96, is the second-best-rated player in the game.

It’s interesting that the best-rated team in the game, Alabama, only has two players in the top ten, and their highest-rated one, Ryan Williams, at 95, only comes in at No. 5. There also seems to be favoritism for the SEC, with five out of 10 players in the list being from this conference.
