Speculation surrounding Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck and basketball player Hanna Cavinder’s relationship has intensified following social media clues and a cryptic TikTok post by Haley Cavinder.
Hanna recently deleted all traces of Beck from her Instagram and unfollowed him, sparking breakup rumors. Reports also emerged suggesting Beck had engaged in questionable Snapchat behavior, adding fuel to the fire.
In a TikTok video shared on the Cavinder twins’ joint account, Haley Cavinder spoke about trusting instincts in relationships.
“I just want to say one thing because I can’t be too crazy unfiltered on here,” Haley said. “If your sister comes to you, or your friend, or someone thats really important in your life and they have a gut feeling about a relationship or a friendship for example and they just tell you that on a repeated basis — trust your dang sister. Trust her. She’s always right, I promise you, or your mom, they’re always right.”
Haley also hinted that someone close to her was struggling.
“So anyways, Happy Thursday. Smile. It’s not my story to tell. But yeah, I know there is a lot of speculation and I see someone in my life that’s hurting and I don’t think it’s OK to not be able to have to always keep your mouth shut. “So just a little bit of unfiltered Haley on here. And yeah, I’m trying to be as nice as possible.”
While Haley didn’t name anyone directly, her comments followed rumors that Hanna and Beck had ended their relationship. Beck’s Instagram has since been switched to private.
Fans quickly reacted online.
“He’s transferring,” a fan said
“They said he found Bella Danger on campus 💯💯,” one wrote.
“Miami dealt with family losses all last season. Losing a girlfriend in the off-season shouldn’t be a problem,” Another added,
“These sisters will legitimately do anything for clicks. Couldn’t wait to get on the ole tiktok and talk,” a fan remarked

Beck’s transfer from Georgia to Miami raised eyebrows, especially given Cam Ward’s standout performance for the Hurricanes last season. Ward’s 2024 stats — 3,485 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions — left some questioning Beck’s ability to secure the starting role.
