Fan Uses EA Sports College Football 25 Clip to Defend Jalen Milroe’s Accuracy
Former University of Alabama quarterback Milroe has dealt with detailed critiques of his passing ability before and after last weekend’s NFL Draft, leading him to drop somewhat further than expected before being picked by the Seattle Seahawks.
However, one fan challenges those criticisms with a highlight from a video game.

In a post on X, a user shared a video clip from EA Sports’ College Football 25 video game.
Playing with Milroe and the Crimson Tide team against the Texas Longhorns, we see someone having Milroe drop back and evade a tackle by an opposing player before slinging the ball across his body to a receiver. The receiver, Germie Bernard, then runs it in for a touchdown. “Milroe is inaccurate,” wrote the user.
The clip quickly went viral, with others on X quoting it to discount Milroe’s skills.
One user wrote, “Lmfao tries to flex about Milroe being accurate by showing NCAA football.”
And another writing, “I’m sure NFL scouts base their evaluations off of a video game” in a reply. Others backed the original poster’s gameplay.
Criticisms of Milroe’s passing ability pointed to his 48% in the red zone and his tendency to throw interceptions when under pressure. But his deep-ball accuracy (scoring 10 touchdowns with no interceptions at least 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage) had him ranked second only to the No. 1 draft pick, former Miami QB Cam Ward, in the FBS last season.

Milroe’s running ability also led the Seahawks to view him as potentially developing like NFL MVP Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.
