‘Worst Possible Fit’ — Ex-NFL Scout Rips Shedeur Sanders’ Giants Potential After Viral Clip

The New York Giants will be picking third in this year’s NFL Draft, and they need a long-term option at quarterback. This is where Shedeur Sanders might come into play.

    Shedeur Sanders to the Giants?

In a recent video that has surfaced on social media, Shedeur Sanders was seen laughing and chatting with some of his friends and representation.

One of his friends seemed to give away the idea that he might be going to play for the Giants.

“Go anywhere but the NFC East, man…I can’t do that s***t you with the Giants.”

Of course, there are some, like former NFL scout Daniel Kelly, who believe that Sanders and the Giants would not be a great fit.

Kelly wrote about that recently on a social media post:

“Sanders is the most sacked quarterback in the FBS the past two seasons…The Giants have given up the most sacks in the NFL the past two seasons.”

Would Shedeur Sanders Work Well with the Giants?

As Kelly noted, it seems like there might be a little bit of a protection issue, which could be one problem for the former All-Big 12 star.

Also, when would he be able to start long-term?

The reason why that is a question is that the Giants signed both Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason. While both seem to be placeholders, both showed the ability in certain moments last season in the AFC North that they can still play well.

The Giants also need to start winning games for the sake of head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen.

Would the team be willing to throw Sanders into the fire right away and see how he performs?

A final point that could be made is that it is New York City. Sanders comes from a family that tends to be a little ostentatious with how they operate.

If the former Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year believes he can just show up, make millions of dollars, and expect things to be given to him, he might have another thing coming with the way this Giants team stands at the moment.
