J’Vari Flowers Is One of the Top CB Recruits

247Sports ranked Flowers as the No. 8 cornerback for 2026, but they have yet to place him in the 2025 class.

Flowers turned heads at the Under Armour All-American Game, intercepting a pass from K.J. Lacey and later saving a touchdown.

The interception caught many people’s attention because he was a junior playing a game against some of the nation’s top senior players.

Flowers is a 5-foot-10, 160-pounder who ranks 66th for 2026’s recruiting class and is the No. 7 cornerback and No. 10. prospect in Florida.

He can sign with a program on Feb. 5 but doesn’t have to until April 1.

Miami, Georgia Showing Interest in Flowers

The Miami product recorded a 10.43 100-meter dash time, which garnered him a state championship win. Flowers is also an impressive returner, taking two kickoffs for total of 185 yards.

Flowers also saw time on offense for Miami Northwestern, with six carries for 154 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, he had 82 tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception, and 28 passes defended.

The Hurricanes added CBs Jamboree Antoine, Chris Ewald, and Amari Wallace to the 2025 class while earning transfer commitments from Charles Brantley, Emmanuel Karnley, Xavier Lucas, and Ethan O’Connor.

Though the Hurricanes look to be the team to beat in recruiting him, the Georgia Bulldogs are now in the mix thanks to his performance at the Under Armour festivities.

Flowers told On3 “My stock jumped up after that game. Georgia came in the picture. Building a great relationship with Coach T-Rob (Travaris Robinson) and Coach Smart.”

Chad Simmons from On3 also said that Flowers “will make an unofficial visit to Georgia this weekend” and that the CB is taking his time to decide.
