EA Sports College Football 26 will be released on July 10, and the developer recently gave creators a chance to play the newest addition of their college football game.
The most beloved game mode throughout EA’s college football history has been Dynasty mode, and from what it sounds like, the company is working hard to ensure that this year’s game has the best Dynasty mode yet.
Biggest Changes to Dynasty Mode in EA Sports College Football 26
Dynasty mode in EA Sports college football video games is where a user gets to take over a program and recruit and play with that school, with the ability to turn it into a powerhouse or, of course, a dynasty.
James Bordeaux, who is a content creator with over 400,000 YouTube subscribers, went on the “Crain and Company” podcast and discussed the biggest changes coming to dynasty mode in 2025.
One of the biggest outcries from fans last year was that users could not play cross-platform with their friends, meaning someone who has an Xbox and someone who has a PlayStation couldn’t play the game together. Bordeaux pointed out how that will change in the newest edition of the game (although it’s unclear if CFB 26 will be coming to PC players anytime soon).
“The fact that you don’t need the same counsel and you can have an online dynasty with all your buddies, it’s big, and there were a lot of people who couldn’t do it last year.”
Bordeaux went on to say, “They basically took everything that was wrong with Dynasty and addressed it.”
This is awesome news for college football fans who were thrilled to have the game back after a 10-year hiatus last summer. While the 2025 edition of the game was awesome, there were plenty of bugs and features missing that fans quickly pointed out, and from what Bordeaux is saying, it sounds like most of those will be fixed.
