EA Sports College Football 25 was released last week to terrific success and real-life numbers that blew away their competition. As successful as their launch was, however, it hid a slew of errors that left fans clamoring for updates.
The latest EA Sports College Football 25 Patch should give a glimpse at just how fast the team hears their diehard fans.
EA Sports College Football 25 Patch: Dynasty Improvements
The team at EA clearly heard their fans, and worked overtime to get some fixes out via an online patch. Downloadable on each system, EA targeted several key areas that had left some with a bad taste in their mouth.
As the team at EA said, this will be a constant battle for them to monitor and update as issues arise.
“Our team is consistently tracking top issues and listening to player feedback,” EA’s release said. “Below are some of the top known issues the team is working toward.”
EA’s release then went into further detail around what they were working toward fixing.
Audio Updates
- Incorrect commentary when playing as the first game of the season in Dynasty at Utah
- Florida State’s War Chant and Tennessee’s “Rocky Top” are not audible when playing only on Xbox Series S
Logos Update
- The following teams/conferences have incorrect logos: Stanford, UMass, Western Michigan, Jacksonville State, FIU, New Mexico, SEC, Conference USA, and the Sun Belt
- UTEP and Wyoming display incorrect athletic branding on their equipment in Dynasty
- Visual issue with conference patches when changing a small subset of teams Conference in Dynasty
EA Sports College Football 25 Update Timeline
The timeline for the update was not released, just simply stated as ‘working toward,’ according to EA. However, with the global release just three days prior, the team clearly had their ear to the ground and should be offering the patch sooner as opposed to later.
EA did not confirm the timeframe in which the update would be released, but if their previous fixes and updates are indication, it will be quick.
Update: We’ve finished the maintenance on #CFB25, and online services are now back up and running on all platforms. Thanks for your patience!

The last time they pushed an update was almost in real-time when the servers went down due to volume upon opening day to the early access window.
