During the buildup to the release of EA Sports College Football 25, several former college stars took to the sticks to play friendly games and got to talk ball at the same time.
While playing an exhibition game over the weekend, former superstar quarterbacks Michael Vick and Tim Tebow discussed college passers, agreeing former Alabama star Tua Tagovailoa was the most accurate quarterback of all time.

During the stream, Tebow got the conversation started.
“I would say arguably Tua (Tagovailoa) is one of if not the most accurate quarterback in college, all time,” Tebow said.
Vick readily agreed, calling the current Miami Dolphin “extremely accurate.”

Tagovailoa completed nearly 70% of his passes in three years at Alabama, racking up over 7,400 yards and 87 touchdowns. Remarkably, he threw just 11 interceptions in his time with the Crimson Tide.’
As a draft prospect, he was dinged a bit for his size and arm strength, but no one questioned his accuracy. It’s a trait that has served him well in the NFL with the Dolphins.
Vick and Tebow were both college superstars in their own right, but were known as much for their legs as their arms. Vick, a former No. 1 overall pick by the Falcons, ran for over 1,200 yards in two years at Virginia Tech, but only completed around 56% of his passes. Vick was a superstar in the NFL with the Falcons and Eagles.
Tebow was a bit more accurate in college, finishing an incredible four-year career with the Florida Gators with 88 touchdowns and just 16 interceptions, completing around 66% of his passes and throwing for nearly 9,300 yards.
He added nearly 3,000 yards and 57 touchdowns on the ground, cementing himself as one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in college football history. While he had a few solid years in the NFL, his career fizzled out and found a home as a college football analyst.
But while Tagovailoa’s rushing stats pale in comparison to Vick’s and Tebow’s, his arm impresses both former quarterbacks.
EA Sports College Football 25 has a huge following, giving fans an opportunity to play with their favorite players and former players and opportunity to have discussions like this. For Vick and Tebow, Saturday’s exhibition gave them a chance to talk about former quarterbacks, something they did with plenty of enthusiasm.
