EA Sports recently released a surprising title update for EA Sports College Football 25. Many players had assumed the game would no longer receive updates, as the development team had shifted focus to EA Sports College Football 26.
However, this update brings several highly requested enhancements, including improved likenesses for NIL players and other adjustments.
A Small but Impactful Update for EA Sports College Football 25
The latest update for College Football 25 introduced a series of quality-of-life improvements and some much-needed changes. Among the most notable additions was the inclusion of Tylee Craft, a former University of North Carolina player who passed away in October from lung cancer.
In addition to honoring Craft, EA updated the likenesses of several NIL players. While EA did not provide a full list of updated players, fans may notice improvements in player appearances in the game.
The update also addressed several bug fixes. One major fix resolved the issue of duplicated quarterback names in online dynasty mode, which had caused confusion in recruiting. However, the update also introduced new issues, with some players reporting problems using the Team Builder feature on both Xbox and PlayStation.
