As EA Sports College Football 25 continues its media tour ahead of its highly anticipated July 19 release, the game has made its way to Big 12 Media Days, according to a tweet from Chris Vannini.
Players Get Exclusive Look at EA Sports College Football 25 at Big 12 Media Days
According to Vannini’s tweet (shared below), EA Sports has set up a game station for the athletes to play College Football 25 a week before its July 16 pre-release. Within the setup is a huge “College Football 25” sign with the names of the Media Day participants — all of whom have opted into the game — listed inside the 25.
EA Sports is at Big 12 Media Days and players will get to play the game here. (We aren’t allowed to watch them)

This comes as part of a huge media push by the video game’s creators ahead of its impending release. EA Sports is dropping “first looks” of many of the game modes throughout the week and had Michigan star Donovan Edwards model some of the gameplay on a Monday morning live stream.
While EA has not announced that they’ll have similar setups at Media Days for other conferences, it’s reasonable to assume that the game’s creators want the positive press and that athletes from other conferences will get to experience similar first looks.
That would include stops at the Mountain West Conference’s Media Days on July 10-11 and SEC Media Days on July 15-18.
As Vannini’s tweets state, the media won’t get to watch as the players try out the game for the first time. Yet, the players in attendance will have the opportunity to play.
EA Sports College Football 25 is the resurrection of the beloved franchise that took an 11-year hiatus due to concerns over compensation and a lack of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) legislation. With the game set to release soon, the creators have been hard at work drumming up as much interest as possible.
College Football Network will have all the details about first looks, info, and content surrounding the game.
