Dylan Raiola and the Nebraska Cornhuskers failed to pull off an upset over No. 21 Michigan on Saturday, losing 30-27 at home in Lincoln. The Cornhuskers dominated the passing game, with 308 passing yards to Michigan’s 105. But on the ground, it was all Wolverines with 286 rushing yards to Nebraska’s 46.

Even though they dominated on the air, some fans were less than happy with the performance of their quarterback, Dylan Raiola.
“I’m so glad Raiola decommitted from Ohio State. He’s so bad. He literally runs into sacks,” wrote one fan.
“i wonder if dylan raiola tries to convince his receivers to get into wrecks and flee the scene,” joked someone else.
“‘Dylan Raiola’ ‘Top 10 Qb’ 🤣🤣🤣,” was the simple reaction of a fan to the defeat.
Others thought he did well and that the issues were somewhere else for the Cornhuskers.
“Dylan Raiola is the first quarterback to throw for 300+ yards and 3+ TDs against Michigan since Stetson Bennett in 2021. QB was not the issue today for Nebraska,” explained one fan.
“Dylan Raiola is so clearly the 2027 #1 overall pick Nebraska roster stinks and their HC should be flipping burgers,” someone said in support of the quarterback.
Maybe it’s a family issue?
“Consider the OLine is terrible and that it was a demand for Dylan to commit and then not transfer to have his uncle as OLine coach – if Neb was allowed to hire a competent OLine coach they might be decent but alas the Raiola mafia will not allow it,” wrote one fan about the family connections at Nebraska.

Dylan Raiola’s Numbers in Week 4 Against The Michigan Wolverines
Raiola, in all fairness, had a great game against the Michigan Wolverines. He threw 308 yards, with three touchdown passes and a completion percentage of 73.1%.
Admittedly, he did have an interception that led to a lightning drive by Michigan, which ended on a touchdown after one play, but it was in the first quarter, and it would be difficult to pin the defeat on it.

Where he did underperform was in the running game, as he recorded a negative-49 yards in seven carries. He was also sacked a total of seven times, but that also shows the poor job the offensive line was doing in protecting him.
