Dylan Raiola Signs NIL Deal with Adidas, Teams Up with Patrick Mahomes on Football Roster

Raiola’s admiration for Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl-winning QB Patrick Mahomes has been well documented over the past year. Critics have come at Raiola for trying to copy Mahomes, but he’s one of the greatest QBs of all time already. Why not try to be that?

Everyone has their idol, and Mahomes happens to be Raiola’s.

Now, they’re both a part of the same brand, Adidas.

Though Mahomes, who has publicly supported the Cornhuskers QB, may have had a hand in the signing, it’s not just because of their connection.

Raiola is an absolute baller on the field, performing extremely well as a true freshman in 2024.

Coming in as a five-star prospect, per 247 Sports, Raiola completed 67.1% of his passes en route to throwing for 2,819 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The highlight of his season came in a matchup against the No. 24 Illinois Fighting Illini when he completed 24 of 25 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns, showing his guts and will to keep his team in the game.

That same talent has had brands calling Raiola up, hoping to secure a commitment from the talented QB who is sure to be in the spotlight for the next two seasons of his college career before potentially heading to the pros in 2027.

Along with Mahomes, Adidas has also signed deals with Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence and Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones.

It’s a star-studded crew that Raiola, who has has played just one season of college football and is still just 19 years old, is set to join. The expectations will rise with being put in that group — but it seems like he’ll be okay, considering the season he had last year and the continued improvement that is expected.
