The Georgia Bulldogs’ class of 2024 got a whole lot better on Monday when the top overall recruit, Dylan Raiola, committed. The Dawgs, who enter the 2023 season with uncertainty at the position, all but locked up their future as the favorite to win the SEC in each subsequent year with Raiola’s commitment.
Dylan Raiola Commits to Georgia
Raiola’s journey has been nothing short of spectacular through his first 11 years in school. Entering the summer ahead of his senior season at Pinnacle High School, Raiola remained the king of the crop of athletes for the class of 2024.

Raiola, originally committed to Ohio State before de-committing and re-opening his recruitment, claimed Athens as home in his commitment announcement to the Dawgs.
“Athens, GA is Home!!!” the social media post read. “I’m a Dawg!! Go Dawgs”
The No. 1 player overall and by far the top quarterback, Raiola had offers from just about any school imaginable before ultimately choosing Georgia. The Bulldogs were seen as a major player for his services after failing to secure a quarterback commit in the class of 2023.
With their back-to-back national championships behind them, UGA became an even bigger player for the biggest prize.
Raiola presents massive upside, who already projects as a potential first-round NFL Draft pick. He’s 6’3″, 228 pounds and has plenty of arm talent. He possesses an NFL lineage as his dad — Dominic Raiola — spent 14 seasons with the Detroit Lions at center.
He has an official visit scheduled for June 2 to Athens, but it surely seems like this is it for the prized recruit from the class of 2024.
With Raiola seemingly locked up, Mater Dei’s Elijah Brown is the last uncommitted of the top 10 quarterbacks on the CFN Fusion.
From the top 10 quarterbacks on the CFN Fusion, Raiola’s ceiling is incredibly high: “There is so much to like about his game, including his verified measurables, arm strength, pocket presence, and general field awareness for a rising high school senior. He’ll be the pinnacle of the class as he lands as the No. 1 player overall on the CFN Fusion for 2024.”
Georgia is putting the finishing touches this summer on an incredibly loaded class of 2024 that just got a bit more impressive with Raiola’s commitment.
