Louisville running back Isaac Brown is reportedly planning to enter the transfer portal, according to On3. The sophomore rushed for 2,057 yards and 18 touchdowns in two seasons and is an interesting talent in the transfer portal.
Brown rushed for 1,173 yards and 11 touchdowns in his freshman season, winning ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year. He was also Freshman All-American and earned Second Team All-ACC honors. In 2025, he missed the final four games due to injury but played the Boca Raton Bowl, where Louisville finished strong with a 27-22 win. In that game, he rushed for 102 yards and two scores against Toledo.

Meanwhile, one fan thinks he was a good riddance.
“He’s a talent, but can’t stay healthy or hold onto the ball. Better to spend NIL on offensive and defensive line as we’ve seen in the CFP,” one fan added.
Brown was a three-star recruit in the class of 2024 coming out of Miami. He was 42nd player in his class and 70th in his state of Florida.

Isaac Brown Becomes 14th Transfer Portal Departure For Louisville
Isaac Brown isn’t the only running back who’s leaving Louisville this offseason. On Wednesday, fellow sophomore back Duke Watson was also reported to enter the transfer portal. He rushed for 755 yards and eight scores across two seasons.
Brown was the 14th player to enter the transfer portal from Louisville. He joins sophomore quarterback Deuce Adams, redshirt junior quarterback Brady Allen, redshirt freshman wide receiver Shaun Boykins, sophomore running back Isaac Brown, redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Micah Carter, redshirt sophomore edge rusher AJ Green, sophomore offensive lineman Carter Guillaume, redshirt sophomore wide receiver Kris Hughes, redshirt freshman defensive lineman Chris Jones Jr., senior tight end Nate Kurisky, redshirt sophomore safety Daeh McCullough, redshirt freshman offensive tackle Ransom McDermott, redshirt freshman defensive lineman Xavier Porter, and sophomore running back Duke Watson.
