Duke Transfer Portal Tracker: Full List Of Players Set To Leave Blue Devils Ft. Peyton Jones

For 2025, the Duke Blue Devils have had a roller coaster of a season that saw them have an okay season with eight wins and five losses, and they were 6-2 in conference play. Somehow, this record still got them to the ACC championship game over the Miami Hurricanes, which made the CFP. This also somehow got them to upset the No. 1-seeded team in the conference, the Virginia Cavaliers, forcing the Cavs to miss the CFP.

With the season about to end, that also means that the transfer portal is about to open on Jan. 2. Like many large programs, there are several Blue Devils players expected to leave Durham and find other places they could play. This is despite Duke being the ACC champions and having a high ceiling for next year.

As of Dec. 20, a total of eight Duke players have announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal once it opens on Jan. 2. Despite this, some of these players are expected to suit up and play for the Sun Bowl over at El Paso, Texas, on New Year’s Eve against the Arizona State Sun Devils, despite already declaring.

Duke Blue Devils Players Expected To Enter the Transfer Portal

    • Peyton Jones, RB
    • Maliki Wright, S
    • Vontae Floyd, CB
    • Vance Bolyard, TE
    • Jack Small, OL
    • Terry Simmons, DT
    • Kenzy Paul, S
    • Kyren Condoll, CB

Peyton Jones has seen his playing time get less and less over the 2025 season and was the first to announce that he was entering the transfer portal. Others, such as redshirt freshman Jack Small and redshirt freshman and redshirt sophomore Kenzy Paul, did not get much playing time at Duke, while others, such as TE Vance Bolyard and CB Vontae Floyd, did get decent playing time but still decided to enter the transfer portal.

The transfer portal will close on Jan. 16, which means that these players have to find a school to play for, or they will have to go back to playing for the Blue Devils. Head coach Manny Diaz has allowed players entering the transfer portal or declaring for the NFL draft to continue playing for the team during bowl games. That being said, not a lot of players are actually leaving Duke, as compared to other programs such as Texas.
