Penn State is one of the best rated teams in EA Sports College Football 26, and Drew Allar is proud of it. The Nittany Lions quarterback shared through his Instagram story showing the nine players from the program rated 90 or better by the video game publisher.
These players are Nicholas Singleton (93), Drew Allar (92), Kaytron Allen (92), Dani Dennis-Sutton (92), Olaivavega Ioane (92), A.J. Harris (91), Zane Durant (90), Devonte Ross (90), and Zakee Wheatley (90). Allar also happens to be the third-best quarterback in the game.
Here’s what Allar posted on his Instagram story:
The Nittany Lions are rated 88 overall, which puts them fourth in the overall rating list for the game. The rest of the top 25 is made up as follows.
1. Alabama Crimson Tide | 89 (SEC)
2. Texas Longhorns | 88 (SEC)
3. Ohio State Buckeyes | 88 (Big Ten)
4. Penn State Nittany Lions | 88 (Big Ten)
5. Notre Dame Fighting Irish | 88 (Independent)
6. Georgia Bulldogs | 88 (SEC)
7. Clemson Tigers | 88 (ACC)
8. Texas A&M Aggies | 88 (SEC)
9. Oregon Ducks | 86 (Big Ten)
10. LSU Tigers | 86 (SEC)
11. Miami Hurricanes | 86 (ACC)
12. Florida Gators | 86 (SEC)
13. Texas Tech Red Raiders | 86 (Big 12)
14. Arizona State Sun Devils | 85 (Big 12)
15. Michigan Wolverines | 85 (Big Ten)
16. Ole Miss Rebels | 85 (SEC)
17. Oklahoma Sooners | 85 (SEC)
18. Indiana Hoosiers | 85 (Big Ten)
19. SMU Mustangs | 84 (ACC)
20. Tennessee Volunteers | 84 (SEC)
21. Missouri Tigers | 84 (SEC)
22. Auburn Tigers | 84 (SEC)
23. Duke Blue Devils | 84 (ACC)
24. South Carolina Gamecocks | 82 (SEC)
25. Illinois Fighting Illini | 82 (Big Ten)
Unsurprisingly, the list is dominated by the SEC, with 12 schools in the top 25. The SEC also has the top program in the list, with Alabama having an overall rating of 89, which comes first in the table. A decision some will probably question, considering Alabama didn’t even make the College Football Playoff last season.

Penn State had been after Harley since January, and they finally managed to get him to make an official visit to the school in June. He plays at Gonzaga High School in Washington, DC.
The weekend was a productive one for the Nittany Lions’ recruiting game, with three-star prospect Marlen Bright also joining the midwestern school. Bright is the 47th-best offensive tackle in the country and the eighth-best overall prospect in the state of New Jersey, according to the 247Sports composite.
