The flashy NIL appearance came just before the Gators reconvene for summer workouts. It also announced a new partnership with Lamborghini Orlando, adding to Lagway’s endorsement portfolio, including major brands like Leaf Trading Cards, EA Sports, Gatorade, Nintendo, and Epic Games. The event gained even more traction after teammates chimed in on his post, echoing the excitement.
Lagway’s impact isn’t limited to the showroom floor. He became Florida’s starting quarterback midway through his freshman season and quickly changed the team’s trajectory. The Gators went 6-1 in games he started, finishing the season 8-5 overall. Lagway ended the year with 1,915 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and 101 rushing yards.
A former five-star recruit, Lagway enters his sophomore campaign as the full-time starter. He’ll lead a high-powered offense that includes standout receivers Tre Wilson, J. Michael Sturdivant, Aidan Mizell, Dallas Wilson, and a strong backfield duo in Jadan Baugh and Ja’Kobi Jackson.
