With 63 starts across UCF, Oklahoma, and Oregon, Gabriel brings a wealth of experience as he eyes the NFL. In his redshirt senior season, he completed 326 of 447 passes, proving his efficiency and consistency.

Gabriel’s determination was on full display in an Instagram video, where he showcased an intense workout montage aimed at impressing NFL scouts ahead of the 2025 Draft.

The video then transitioned to a high-energy mix of gym workouts and on-field practice reps, offering a glimpse of his relentless preparation. Keeping it subtle yet powerful, Gabriel’s Instagram caption featured just a single period, letting his grind speak louder than words.

Gabriel’s draft stock has sparked plenty of debate among analysts, with projections placing him anywhere from the third to the sixth round.

The Draft Network sees him going 99th overall to the Miami Dolphins in Round 3, while Tim Weaver of Sports Illustrated has him landing with the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round at No. 143. Meanwhile, Tyler Brooke of the 33rd Team envisions him slipping to the sixth round, where the San Francisco 49ers could scoop him up at No. 188.

Dillon Gabriel Defends Himself on His Short Height Drawback

With Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix making waves as rookie quarterbacks in the NFL, Gabriel could be next in line to seize a starting role. Given his impressive college career and steady progression, his path to the pros suggests he might just follow in their footsteps.

However, at 5’11”, Gabriel faces a challenge that has historically worked against quarterbacks at the pro level. If he does earn a starting role as a rookie, he would join a rare group of sub-six-foot QBs and defy the odds in the big league.

“It’s been uncertain and unknown, new territories for us,” Gabriel said. “But for me that’s where most of my growth has come during those times … I have good people around me and been around people who have been through this process and I try to ask as many questions as I can but you just need one team and one believer.”

Weighing in at 205 pounds, Gabriel is gearing up to embrace whatever role awaits him in the NFL. Whether he lands a starting job or fights his way up the depth chart, his journey to the next level is just beginning. Now, all eyes are on the draft to see where his pro career will take flight.
