Deone Walker has already impressed through his measurements at the Senior Bowl. The Kentucky defensive tackle stood at 6’7″ and 340 pounds with 34.5-inch arms, ranking in the 88th percentile or higher in each.

Walker’s 1.5-sack and 37-tackle season was a small relief in an overall disappointing season for the Wildcats. In his three seasons, Walker played in two bowl games.
In those two bowl games, he recorded five total tackles, three tackles for losses, and two sacks. Just two years ago, Walker set the SEC on fire, generating 12.5 TFLs and 7.5 sacks.
The Detroit native has been projected around the third round and has been ranked as the sixth best defensive lineman, which will make him available to various different NFL teams.
Franchises like the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, and Jacksonville Jaguars need defensive help at different positions, including their front sevens.
