Deone Walker has attracted plenty of interest in the 2025 NFL Draft. The defensive tackle significantly impacted Kentucky in his college career with 132 tackles, six passes defended, 10 sacks, and one forced fumble in three years. The 21-year-old declared for the draft after spending three years at Kentucky.

NFL Draft Landing Spots for Deone Walker
Walker stands at 6’7″, weighs 331 pounds, and has over 34-inch arms. The defensive tackle had an impressive 2023 campaign, recording 7.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss.
Walker was also an early favorite to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft before the 2024 season.
The 21-year-old sustained a major back injury that limited his contribution, as his production went down by over 50%.
This led to questions about his durability and the translatability of his build overall. However, Walker has managed to improve his overall gameplay since then.
1. Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills could have won their AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs if they had a stronger defense. They struggled to defend against the run and get after the quarterback.
Buffalo signed Jordan Phillips and Quinton Jefferson after the deadline to tackle their defensive depth issues; however, they are expected to draft a defensive tackle at some point, and Walker could be the best fit for them.
2. New York Giants
New York Giants’ defensive line system could maximize Walker’s versatility and mask his conditioning flaws, allowing him to contribute in various roles. Pairing Walker with Dexter Lawrence could create an unblockable interior duo, providing a strong presence in the middle of the defensive line.
3. Denver Broncos
The Broncos could use a talented defensive tackle like Walker to add depth and disruption to their defensive line, potentially pairing him with someone like Darnay Holmes. The team also needs a strong defensive tackle to anchor their line, and Walker’s size, power, and agility make him an attractive option.
4. Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals also need defensive reinforcements. Despite having one of the best offenses in the NFL, the Bengals have yet to sort out their defensive lapses. Walker represents a good option for the Bengals, and he would add some much-needed depth and strength to the position.
