There is no job like parenting and, along those lines, being a mother. It is one of the toughest jobs on the planet, which is why it is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling, as Sanders mentioned.
Whether on the football field, at work, or at home, the Sanders family always seems to find a way to rise to the occasion.
What’s Next for Deion Sanders and His Sons?
For Deion, after signing a major five-year extension with Colorado in recent days, he is set up for success down the road.
In his first season with the school in 2023, the Buffaloes went just 4-8 overall and won only one game in the conference. Last season, the team did a complete 180 as it won nine games and was in the running for a chance to win the Big 12. Sanders will look to keep his team in contention this Fall.
However, he will have to do it without both of his sons, who played significant roles on the team. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and cornerback Shilo Sanders are two big names in this year’s NFL Draft class. Plenty of teams will be searching for a quarterback early on, and a cornerback always tends to be a pressing need for plenty of teams.
