After a crushing loss against Utah in week 9, Deion Sanders’ Colorado needed a win in week 10 as they faced the Arizona Wildcats at Folson Field.
While Coach Prime tried everything he could to prepare the Buffs for a better game than they had, including staying at the facility for around 3 days and calling Hall of Famers to motivate the players, the team fell short again.
During the post-game press conference, Deion Sanders made it clear that none of the coordinators —Pat Shumur or Robert Livington —will be available to take questions from the media, as they have been under fire from fans for not doing their jobs properly.
“No one will be available tonight,” Sanders said after the game. “It’s on me. Don’t attack the coordinators. Come at me. Don’t attack the players. Come at me. This is me. This has nothing to do with them. It has everything to do with me.”
“We’re not executing. We’re not getting it done, and that’s lack of preparation… I know this team personally. I know this intimately. I know a multitude of players. They hadn’t done that (checked out). I know when a player quits. I know a quitter when I see one. I hadn’t seen that.”
“I don’t give a darn about criticism. I’m telling you, it’s on me. Criticize me. I’ve been criticized when I came out the womb. The doctor didn’t even like it. I’m good, so it’s on me. I know what the situation is. I know what the problem is.” Sanders said.
“I know what the situation is, I know what the problem is and I’ll fix it.”

Deion Sanders Opens Up About Shedeur Sanders Surprising Him in Colorado
As the Browns enjoy a bye week this weekend, Shedeur Sanders took some time to go see his dad in Colorado and also attend the Arizona game to show his support.
Talking about meeting his son after so long, Deion Sanders said that the “shenanigans” by the Buffs put a damper on the situation.
Coach Prime on Shedeur surprising him: “These shenanigans put a damper on it.”
“I haven’t seen my son in a long time so that was quite emotional for me.”

Coach Prime further shared that Shedeur also got his treatment, because of which he wasn’t available for the Patriots game last week.
“I haven’t seen my son in a long time. Forget the game. Forget this. Forget that. I haven’t seen my son in a long time. So that was quite emotional for me, him surprising me today in the office. That walk isn’t about nothing but him. I’m praying for him doing the whole walk, making sure he’s focused and locked in. He came and got treatment, worked out, but that’s beside the point. I’m just happy to see my kids whenever I get the opportunity. I’m still a dad.”
Colorado will now face West Virginia in week 11 at Milan Puskar Stadium.
