Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders’ sons Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders have joined NFL teams for the upcoming season. Shedeur was drafted in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns while Shilo signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.

NFL season is in training camp stage, and Deion was there to watch safety Shilo at his training camp at the AdventHealth Training Center on Tuesday. Coach Prime was spotted having a discussion with Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles. The duo played around the same time in the NFL.

This led to many fans reacting to Sanders’ presence at Shilo’s training camp and not Shedeur’s.

“Even he chose to watch Shilo over Shedeur,” one fan wrote.

“Isn’t he supposed to be recruiting,” another fan added.

Another user, @pirateninja50, didn’t hold back:

“That’s not who you want to have at your camp if you’re trying to promote focus and culture.”

Similarly, @KevinCarlsonTV reminded everyone of college football season:

“Don’t he have a team to coach? 37 days btw…”

Still, many came to Coach Prime’s defense, noting the importance of supporting his children.

“He’s probably in Florida recruiting and happened to stop by for a bit,” wrote @KevinCarlsonTV. “People are overreacting. The man wants to see his son practice. Can’t blame him. Plenty of hours in the day for him to meet recruits.”

Others were just enjoying the moment:

“I don’t know who these people are, but I like that one guy’s glasses 😎” joked @d_Xmeta.

What’s next for Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders?

After spending much of the offseason away due to undisclosed health issues, Deion Sanders is set to return to Boulder this week. His son, Deion Jr., confirmed that both he and “Coach Prime” will be back ahead of Colorado’s preseason training camp, likely scheduled for late July.

Colorado’s fall camp is nearing as the July 28 date approaches, as Coach Prime looks ahead to a season without his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders.

Meanwhile, Shedeur is turning heads at Browns OTAs and now in training camp, as he aims to lock down a roster spot in the Browns’ crowded quarterback room, which includes veterans Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Deshaun Watson (injured) and rookie Dillon Gabriel.

Last but not least, Shilo, who signed a three-year undrafted free agent deal with Tampa Bay in April, has begun training with the Buccaneers. As camp continues, Shilo must prove he belongs on the 53-man roster.
