Deion Sanders’ son, Shilo Sanders, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and later signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ever since he stepped foot in Tampa, Shilo Sanders has been winning the fans’ hearts with his charismatic personality and the way he has been putting in the work during the rookie mini camp and training camp.
While Shilo impressed fans with his performance during the first Bucs preseason game against the Tennessee Titans, however the next two games didn’t go as planned, especially the last matchup against the Buffalo Bills in which Shilo was ejected due to a physical brawl with Bills TE Zack Davidson.
Shilo was then announced to be waived off from the Bucs roster, reacting to which, Deion said on Tuesday that he hopes Shilo gets another opportunity with a team, and if he doesn’t, a few plans have already been put forward for what he’s going to do next and that all the Sanders will be alright with or without football.
“Hopefully Shilo will pull himself out of bankruptcy court, and Deion will make a settlement with the security guard Shilo injured. That would be the right thing to do. That’s the first step in making Shilo straight. IMO.” one fan wrote.
“Damn, No confidence that he can play football. Can’t blame him for being honest. He’s just not good enough.” another fan pointed out.
“That last statement is 100% with or without football the Sanders family is going to be just fine. Deion has done a fantastic job prepping these young men for where life takes them. I still think Shilo can play SP/TM in the NFL just not sure you want him covering NFL WR’s.” another fan commented.

Chad Johnson Weighs In on Shilo Sanders’ Potential Landing Spot After Bucs Roster Cut
Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson released a heartfelt statement for Shilo Sanders after the news of his being waived from the Bucs roster came out.
While discussing what can be in store for Shilo next, Johnson said that while he is not sure where the ex-Colorado safety will land, there are some teams out there that could use some depth at the safety position, for instance Bengals might need one in the secondary team, along with the Steelers and the Saints.
Johnson further added he isn’t sure where Shilo will land, but he will eventually, since he is being represented by the same agent who represented the ex-Dolphins’ WR.
