Deion Sanders’ Son Shilo Drops Blunt Comment on Coach Prime Potentially Coaching in the NFL

Deion Sanders has been in the conversation for various reasons over the last two years, one of them majorly being that he will leave Colorado and start coaching in the NFL, especially after his sons Shedeur and Shilo joined the league.

This conversation was at its peak around the 2025 NFL Draft when there was talk around teams like the Dallas Cowboys picking Shedeur and hiring Deion at the same time.

His son Shilo, who went undrafted in the draft and then later signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had to leave the franchise after he got waived off by them over a physical on field brawl during the last preseason game.

During a live stream on Twitch, Shilo Sanders addressed a question about his dad potentially coaching in the NFL.

Shilo responded by saying, “That’s probably not gon’ happen.”

Deion Sanders Talks About Shilo Sanders’ Talents Amid Uncertain NFL Future

After getting waived from the Bucs, Shilo Sanders told the fans through his Youtube channel that while he is still looking forward to what’s next in his football career, he has more directions he might go towards, like music, acting and even modeling.

He also shared that his parents equipped him with many skills growing up, and further said that even if football doesn’t work out for him he believes in god’s plans.

Coach Prime also doubled down on his son Shilo Sanders’ statement and said during an interview on BuffsTV that there was a time even he went on a similar route early in his career.

“I was gonna go down that avenue once upon a time,” Deion Sanders said on the show. “I think that’s the avenue that … or streaming … that Shilo’s gonna go down, because he has that gift, man.”

“Once upon a time, I was gonna surrender one of the sports − I’m not going to say which one − to go into acting,” Sanders added. “It’s almost like God pulled the carpet out of it because the movie was gonna be shot in New Orleans. I was gonna be like this undercover cop infiltrating this corrupt police.”

The ex Colorado star, Shilo Sanders, was also removed removed from Madden NFL 26 on October 16th.
