ICYMI: Deion Sanders’ Daughter Shelomi Rocks Myles Slusher Jersey-Inspired Look Amid USC-Purdue Showdown

Alabama A&M WBB star Shelomi Sanders may be going to another school, but when it comes to her rumored boyfriend, Purdue defensive back Myles Slusher, she made it clear that she is cheering for the Boilermakers. The daughter of NFL legend and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders rocked up to the USC vs. Purdue game while sporting a top featuring Myles Slusher’s face on it. She then shared her OOTD on her Instagram:

While the Boilermakers put on a valiant effort against their fellow Big 10 opponents, the Trojans pulled off the victory, with a final score of 33-17. The Trojans now go up 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Big 10 Conference, while the Boilermakers suffered their first loss and go down 2-1 and 0-1 in the Big 10.

It has been a few weeks worth of speculations that the youngest Sanders daughter has been dating the Purdue defensive specialist. By coming to the Purdue vs. USC game, wearing a Myles Slusher top no less, she more or less confirmed that they are indeed dating.

Slusher originally played for the Arkansas Razorbacks when he started college in 2020, but entered the transfer portal and went to Louisville. One year later, he transferred again, this time to Colorado, and this was when he met Shelomi Sanders, as she was still playing basketball for the school her dad worked with at that time. He transferred again in 2024, this time to Purdue.

During Slusher’s time at Colorado, he sat out most of the entire 2024 season, and like Shelomi, he decided to enter the transfer portal and ended up in Purdue, while she went to Alabama A&M to forge her own path, away from her father’s shadow at Colorado.

Myles Slusher Already Had Connections With Purdue Ahead of Transfer From Colorado

Myles Slusher spent his first few years of college at Arkansas. There, he met defensive coordinator Barry Odom, who is now the first-year head coach of Purdue. Soon after Odom landed the head coaching job, Slusher left Colorado to join his old coach.

Last season, though he had limited playing time, he tallied six tackles in Colorado’s first win against TCU. including the game-winning tackle. However, this was only one of four games he played while wearing a Buffaloes jersey, as his season ended with an injury. He showed much promise, registering a game-high six tackles against Arizona State and ended his 2024 season with 17 tackles, 1.5 for loss, one sack and one pass breakup.
