After a dramatic press conference with his medical team, NFL legend and Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has revealed that he has had a cancerous tumor removed from his bladder. This explained his long absence from Boulder, missing practices and scouting for new recruits. Previously, fans attributed his long absence to his other biggest health issues, which are his problems involving blood clots.
Even though Deion Sanders went through a cancer scare, which he admitted changed how he peed as the cancerous tumor was in his bladder, the 57-year-old was quite jovial at the press conference as he appeared alongside his doctors. However, he emphasized that his health problems were really serious.
“It’s a totally—I truly depend on, depend like I—I—I cannot control my bladder. So I get up and go to the bathroom already four or five times a night, but then I’m sitting up there waking up, you know, like my grandson. We—we in the same thing. We in the same—we got the same problem right now. We going through the same trials and tribulations.” he said.
Coach Prime even had a few jokes regarding his new problem regarding peeing.
“We’re trying to see who has the heaviest bag at the end of the night. Like, it’s—it’s ridiculous. But I’m—I’m—I’m making a joke out of it, but it’s real. Like, it is real,” he added. “It is real. It is real. So if you see a Port-a-Potty on the sideline, it’s real. Okay? I’m just telling you right now. You’re going to see it.”

Meanwhile, Deion Sanders had even more jokes regarding his health, including one that pertained to him getting 14 surgeries since 2021.
“I had more surgeries as a coach than I did as a player,” he joked.
Deion Sanders is considered an all-time great cornerback and is even in the Hall of Fame. However, his health troubles have been causing him a lot of pain, with him even losing two of his toes due to a blood clot. After his surgery, Sanders confirmed he is cancer free.
