$60M Worth Deion Sanders Drops Honest Reaction to Son Shedeur Sanders’ Long Awaited NFL Debut

Colorado Buffaloes Head Coach and Hall of Famer Deion Sanders recently reacted to his son Shedeur Sanders’ NFL Debut against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11 of the NFL.

$60 million coach didn’t hold back his emotions when talking about the moment his son made his NFL debut in front of what looked like a packed school auditorium full of kids. Coach Prime then got real about his feelings in front of the crowd, stating:

“I was thankful, happy, and appreciative that he got an opportunity,” Deion said.

“I’m excited. I have no tears. He called me screaming and I’m crying right now”, he further elaborated.

Sanders, who was named the Browns’ third-string quarterback at the start of the season, made his debut following Dillon Gabriel’s injury, which forced the former out of the game.

With the Browns trading Joe Flacco to the Bengals at the start of the season, combined with Gabriel’s injury, Shedeur, now on paper, is touted to be the Browns’ starting quarterback with DeShaun Watson as his backup.

However, head coach Kevin Stefanski has confirmed that Dillon Gabriel will start next week, considering he’s healthy and passes concussion protocol.

Tony Grossi Names Jim Schwartz as Potential Successor If Stefanski Is Fired

Shedeur’s debut, however, wasn’t as dreamy as he would’ve liked it to be, as he completed just 4 of his 16 pass attempts for 47 yards, whilst also throwing one interception and getting sacked twice.

Shedeur also added 16 rushing yards on three carries, but in vain as the Browns suffered a 23-16 loss against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Browns are now sitting at 2-8, and it’s fair to say their season has already gone off the rails. Kevin Stefanski’s seat gets hotter by the week, with analysts like Tony Grossi predicting that the Browns will clear house as far as the coaching and management team is concerned.

Grossi also suggested defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz as the potential successor to Stefanski if the latter gets fired come next season.

Meanwhile, Deion’s dealing with his own set of challenges at Colorado as the Buffaloes have stumbled to a 3-7 record this season, landing them near the bottom of the Big 12 standings.
