“I Haven’t Been Home Yet”: $60M Worth Deion Sanders Makes Shocking Admission After Devastating 53–7 Loss Against Utah

Deion Sanders’ Colorado suffered one of its biggest losses in the season, as the Utah Utes were able to secure 53 points while giving away just 7 to the Buffaloes during their Week 9 matchup last Saturday.

The Buffaloes have had a forgettable season so far this year, as they sit at an overall record of 3-5, which is disappointing after their exciting 9-4 season in 2024 with Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, and Jimmy Horn Jr.

Talking about how he is coping with the massive loss Colorado faced against Utah, Deion Sanders revealed during the weekly news conference on Tuesday that he hasn’t made a trip home since the game.

“I feel the worst. I haven’t been home yet. I’ve been here every night since. I haven’t been home yet. So that’s how much I care. That’s how much I love it. That’s how much I embody this university, the school, what they’ve done for us,” Sanders said.

“Now guess what? Let’s flush the darn toilet, and let’s move on. And that’s what we’ve done. We’ve flushed the toilet and moved on. We’re better than this. We really are. There’s no way we could play like that (against Iowa State), the last time you saw us play at home, and then go play like that (at Utah). That don’t add up. So don’t say we weren’t prepared. We were prepared. We just got our butts kicked.” Sanders commented.

Shannon Sharpe Makes Thoughts Clear on Deion Sanders’ “Disaster” of a Season in 2025

During a recent episode of his podcast called “Night Cap,” Shannon Sharpe weighed in on the kind of season Deion Sanders has had at Colorado so far.

Sharpe declared the 2025 season a “disaster” for Sanders. He added that while Colorado doesn’t have the same expectations as LSU, it doesn’t excuse Coach Prime for having as bad a season as this and losing the way they are.

Sharpe further said he didn’t have too many expectations for Colorado to begin with after they lost three of their best players to the 2025 NFL Draft, asking the fans what they thought Colorado’s record was going to be.

The Buffaloes are now on their way to face the Arizona Wildcats in Week 9 at the Folson Field on Saturday.
