Deion Sanders Jr. Left ‘Very’ Embarrassed As Coach Prime’s Colorado Face Devastating 52–17 Arizona Loss

In a one-sided demolition, the Arizona Wildcats dominated the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday, with Coach Prime Deion Sanders’ squad losing 52-17. The Buffaloes fall to 3-6 after that loss, with many now wondering what will be next for the struggling squad, which used to be regarded as one of the best rising programs in the country thanks to Sanders.

This year, however, the Buffs have been losing game after game, especially against top opponents. Fans have been calling Deion Sanders and his staff out for the skid, and it seems that the NFL Hall of Famer and his family are very much aware of all the criticisms. One fan on X, formerly Twitter, called out the loss as “absolutely embarrassing,” and Sanders’ eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr. agreed.

    “Yeah,” he answered bluntly.

This is already the second consecutive blowout loss suffered by the Buffs over the last few weeks, getting demolished by Utah 53-7 in the week prior. To make things worse for Colorado, that blowout loss happened at home, with the Wildcats opening the contest up with a 17-0 lead in the first quarter and never looking back.

Their former quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, was present during the contest and cheered his alma mater on. However, the Buffaloes have not been the same since he left for the NFL earlier this year. He is Coach Prime’s youngest son and is currently playing as a backup quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.

Turnovers Plagued Coach prime’s Colorado Buffaloes During Blowout Loss to Arizona

The most glaring problem that Colorado faced during that game were the turnovers, as the Buffs had five turnovers and 14 penalties during that game at Folsom Field on Saturday. This included a sack on quarterback Kaidon Salter that led to a fumble that soon led to the Wildcats scoring and making it 17-0.

Salter was also intercepted by Dalton Johnson, who soon returned it back to the 10-yard line. This soon led to a touchdown from Javin Whatley to make it 31-7, with the Wildcats making the Buffs pay for their many mistakes throughout the game.

True freshman Julian Lewis soon replaced Salter and provided the Buffs a much-needed spark in the third quarter as he hit Omarion Miller for a 59-yard touchdown. However, it was too late, as the Buffaloes could not keep up and lost at home in yet another blowout.
