Deion Sanders Jr. Drops Blunt Statement for Critics Among Coach Prime, Shedeur Sanders Struggles

The recent few weeks have been tough on the Sanders family. Last week, Deion Sanders had a four-hour surgery for blood clots in his leg. Shedeur Sanders, on the other hand, is still struggling to find his place in the Cleveland Browns lineup.

The quarterback drama inside the Browns organization has been one of the biggest talking points of the season. With Sanders on the roster and a good preseason run, many thought that he would take the field for the Browns this season.

However, the closest he has gotten so far is getting a QB2 nod last week. Even then, he left empty-handed while his team lost 9-23 against the Steelers. Amid the struggles and scrutiny being faced by his family, Deion Sanders Jr. recently dropped a blunt statement on X.

“No sympathy for any of them…  cuz they didn’t have sympathy for us,” Sanders Jr. wrote.

Even though he didn’t mention anything specific or didn’t drop any names, it’s a clear indication that he’s keeping an eye on everything that’s been said about his father and brother. Other than Coach Prime’s health struggles, he’s also dealing with the difficulty of getting the Buffaloes on track.

This season was supposed to be a real test of his coaching abilities. After losing two star players to the NFL Draft, everyone wanted to see how long it would take Coach Prime to rebuild his program and make an impact on the season.

So far, the Colorado Buffaloes’ run has been disappointing. After starting the season with a loss against Georgia Tech, the Buffs went on to lose three more games in the following weeks, bringing their record to 3-4.

Coach Prime on His Blood Clot Surgery

Last Tuesday, Coach Prime talked to the media and detailed the procedure he was set to undergo for blood clots in his leg. Considering his health struggles in recent years, fans were worried about him, but he assured everyone that he was going to come back to his duty soon.

In fact, he stated that he will be back for practice the following day.

“I am having a procedure today,” Sanders SAID, as per On3. “Prayerfully I’ll be right back at practice tomorrow. It is what it is what. Found what we found. I have a wonderful team of doctors at UC Health and a team of wonderful trainers here.”

“It has nothing to do with me working at the level and competing … it is hereditary. It is what it is. I trust God with all my heart,” he added.

Days later, when the Buffaloes faced the Iowa State Cyclones, Coach Prime’s team registered its third win of the season, defeating Iowa 24-17.
