Deion Sanders Jr. Reflects on Two Month-Long Journey at Coach Prime’s Texas House

Deion Sanders Jr. had been accompanying his dad Coach Prime for almost two months as the Colorado head coach faced an unspecified illness during the break, which even resulted in him losing almost 14 pounds in weight.

On their last day in Dallas, Deion Jr. sat by the pool and cherished the journey they had there, admitting that he was going to miss the place.

“It’s the last day here, bro, y’all didn’t know that, day coming to end, kind of sad. I’m not gonna lie to you, I learned to really actually love this place. I really never just stayed out here much. Always stay like a hotel downtown. But this s*it sucks. It’s not even about being here, It’s like the battle that was fought, the battle that was fought and won, that’s like the main important thing. Boy didn’t leave the house in two months, I’m buying new couch for the red house and everything.” (8:40)

“But it’s a blessing. He’s gonna tell y’all whatever he went through very soon, and I got a lot of it recorded on video, so you’ll be able to see what he went through,” he added.

After making a short trip to Tampa, Deion Sanders and Bucky are now back in Boulder, Colorado.
