Deion Sanders Jr. Predicts Colorado Star Who’s Going To Get Viral, and It’s Not Julian Lewis

Deion Sanders Jr. rarely hesitates to joke around on social media with his friends and family members. On Saturday, he was up to his antics again, joking around with a funny jab at one of his close friends in Colorado.

With Shedeur and Shilo Sanders no longer a part of the Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders Jr. is one of two members of the Sanders family left in Colorado, alongside Coach Prime. As a result, the player most likely to go viral is incoming freshman five-star QB recruit Julian Lewis. However, he was not the one that Deion Jr. was throwing jabs at.

On his Instagram story on Saturday, Deion Jr. reposted a post with several memes of a small furry animal smiling with a flat hat and a toothpick in its mouth. Deion Jr. joked that it was his friend from Colorado, Quinn Benson, in the images. Benson is a member of Well Off Media and often appears in videos with the Colorado Buffaloes.

“Quinn Benson done went viral again,” Deion Sanders Jr. wrote.

Despite Not Being the Viral Star Deion Sanders Jr. Mentioned, Julian Lewis Could Go Viral Next Season for Colorado

When Deion Sanders Jr. joked about a Colorado star going viral, it was a member of his Well Off Media team, not the new Colorado star QB. However, despite not getting a mention from Deion Jr., Julian Lewis could be the most likely player on the Buffaloes to go viral next season.

Julian Lewis is a five-star recruit and, according to ESPN, is the No. 12-ranked player in his class. He is expected to be the quarterback of the future for the Buffaloes after Shedeur Sanders left the team to start his career in the NFL.

However, it is unclear whether Julian Lewis will be the starter next season. While the Buffaloes have faith in Lewis to become a star in the coming seasons, he might not be ready in 2025. As a result, the team brought in Liberty transfer Kaidon Salter.

Salter and Lewis will compete for the starting job this coming season. Salter started the past two seasons for the Liberty Flames and is heading into his final season of eligibility. He brings experience to the Buffaloes that Lewis does not have. He is coming off a season where he completed 147 of 261 passing attempts for 1886 yards and 15 TDs. He will be trying to raise his stock before the 2026 NFL draft.
