“They Making It Tough”: Deion Sanders Jr. Takes Playful Jab at Colorado Buffaloes Amid 1–2 CFB Start

The Colorado Buffaloes are off to a rocky start in the new season. They have lost two of the first three games against Georgia Tech and Houston. For a program run by Deion Sanders, this is disappointing to say the least.

While Coach Prime and his players must be working hard to turn it around in the coming weeks, the impact of two losses is also being felt by Deion Sanders Jr, who covers their journey through his ‘Well Off Media’ channel on YouTube.

In a recent video, uploaded only hours ago, Sanders Jr. seemingly took a playful jab at the Buffs for making his job harder by losing games. In the video, Sanders Jr. can be seen on the road as he speaks to the camera.

“So, I gotta start recording all day again, man,” Sanders Jr. SAID. “Doing all day vlogs like we used to when we first got here. Got to show y’all everything cuz they making it tough for a n***a to eat out here, man. It will get better, though.” (From 2:25)

Despite the disappointing start, Sanders Jr. believes that it can get better for the Buffs. They haven’t had a blowout loss yet, which indicates that there are no major issues within the program. They seem to need slightly better control on defense to win again.

On the other hand, the Buffaloes have handed Delaware a blowout loss. In the Week 2 matchup against the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens, they registered a 31-7 win as their offense thrived yet again while the defense kept the opposition scoreless in three quarters.

Deion Sanders Expressed His Frustration at Halftime

At halftime, against the Blue Hens, the Colorado Buffaloes had a comfortable 17-7 lead. They were on track to win the game in the second half, but Coach Prime wasn’t completely happy with his team’s performance.

When the team came together in the locker room, Coach Prime took center stage to address his players and express his frustration. He told them that he could see the Buffs walking away with a win, but he expected more from them.

“We winning the game, but do you feel good about it? Why [don’t you feel good about it?] Because we’re not dominating…I’m proud of y’all, but I ain’t totally proud of y’all because I know better. We’re supposed to be dominant in this game, and we’re not dominant,” Coach Prime SAID. (20:30)

In the second half, the Buffs put 14 more points on the board while keeping the Blue Hens scoreless. Coach Prime’s encouragement at halftime worked well, and they registered their first win of the season.
