Ahead of the Cleveland Browns’ training camp, fifth-round draft pick Shedeur Sanders rocked the football world by releasing a music video, hyping himself. The four-minute video captures Shedeur’s personal grind and raw passion for the game as he’s determined to prove the doubters wrong.
Shedeur’s initial part of the song was focused on having a no-excuses mentality before tracing it to Ohio roots. A little ahead, he stressed the importance of overcoming mental battles, fame, death and fake supporters.

Shortly after Shedeur released the song, his brother, Deion Sanders Jr., posted a hilarious Instagram story, writing:
“So I Hustle.”
The three-word statement was a tongue-in-cheek attempt to take creative credit for the high-powered video.

Shedeur Sanders Compares Himself to Neo From The Matrix
At one point in the song, Shedeur Sanders sounded so confident in himself that he compared himself to Neo from The Matrix. He called other small competitors Nemo, highlighting confidence in his skill set.
“You Neo in the Matrix; he’s just Nemo in the ocean. Small fish making kids feel emotion, using you for promotion,” Shedeur said in his music video.
Further in the video, the Browns quarterback talks about pressure and constant motion. He suggests that he’s setting himself up for a lot of work with no void in his schedule.
“Filling up the itinerary till I’m six feet in the cemetery,” he added.
Further in the video, the former Colorado quarterback also spoke about the industry and relationships. With this, he may possibly be taking jibes at those who called him “brash and arrogant” after the NFL Combine. After the combine, Shedeur went from being projected as a first-round pick to getting picked at No. 144 by the Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft.
This has left Shedeur behind the pecking order to become Browns QB1. Ahead of him, the Browns drafted Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel, and given the report of Mary Cabot, he seems to be ahead in the depth chart of the Browns’ QB room, which also includes veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett.
The chances of Shedeur starting appear slim at the moment for the 2025 NFL season. He’ll have to wait his turn and earn the trust of the organization.
However, going by the hype video, it appears that the former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback is not taking the upcoming training camp any lightly. He’s ready to give it all to compete for the QB1 spot.
