Deion Sanders has long been one of the most revered figures in sports. His bold personality, motivational style, and unwavering confidence have made him one of the most recognizable coaches in college football.
However, alongside his work on the sidelines, Sanders’ personal life has also been making headlines, particularly due to speculation surrounding his rumored relationship with actress and model Karrueche Tran.
Rumors of the two being romantically involved began spreading earlier this year when Tran was seen by Sanders’ side during his hospital stay. The two have reportedly been close for months, with several public interactions adding fuel to the speculation.
Although neither has confirmed the relationship, social media activity and appearances together have kept fans curious. Adding to the buzz, Tran recently shared an Instagram story showing herself relaxing outdoors in a black bikini, soaking up the sun, and enjoying a carefree day.

For Sanders, the chatter around his personal life comes at a time when he’s juggling multiple challenges. Despite all the speculation, his main focus remains on his team and his health, both of which have demanded serious attention in recent months.

Deion Sanders Has Been Battling Health Issues
In recent years, Deion Sanders has dealt with several serious health problems, many involving circulation issues in his legs. Earlier this month, he underwent a lengthy procedure to remove blood clots in his leg after experiencing severe pain on the sidelines.
This wasn’t Sanders’ first battle with blood clots. Back in 2021, complications led to the amputation of two toes on his left foot. Since then, he’s undergone multiple surgeries, including one in 2023 to remove clots from his right leg and correct lingering problems with his left foot.
The setbacks have been physically draining, but Sanders has repeatedly pushed through and returned to coaching soon after each procedure. Earlier this year, Sanders also faced another major health issue, bladder cancer.
He underwent surgery to remove his bladder and had part of his intestine reconstructed to function as a replacement. Although doctors have declared him cancer-free, his recovery process has been long and challenging.
Despite the recurring pain and fatigue from his medical issues, Sanders has remained determined to stay active and continue coaching.
“I am having a procedure today,” Sanders SAID, as per On3. “Prayerfully, I’ll be right back at practice tomorrow. It is what it is what. Found what we found. I have a wonderful team of doctors at UC Health and a team of wonderful trainers here.”
