$60M Worth Deion Sanders Fulfills Promise to Visit Son Shilo In Tampa After Months of Health Struggles

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has been through a lot this offseason. He has health with health issues that have limited his availability for the Buffaloes for the past few months. However, he appears to be getting back to full health and even promised earlier this month that he would visit Shilo Sanders and Shedeur Sanders at their first NFL training camps.

On Wednesday, Deion Sanders, who is worth $60 million, fulfilled his promise to Shilo Sanders. He posted a few photos on Instagram from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp, showing his support for Shilo. He was not the only member of the Sanders family to travel to Tampa. Deion Sanders Jr. also visited Shilo at his first NFL training camp.

“Had to visit Tampa to see Shilo Sanders,” Deion Sanders wrote.

Shilo Sanders is getting ready for his first NFL season. Unlike his brother Shedeur Sanders, Shilo did not get selected in the 2025 NFL draft. He watched the draft for three days and did not get selected. However, shortly after the conclusion of the draft, he was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.

On his personal YouTube channel, Shilo Sanders has shown he is working hard this offseason to earn a spot on the Buccaneers for the 2025 NFL season.

Deion Sanders Admits He Is Still “Going Through Something”

Fans and media members alike are happy to see Deion Sanders making more public appearances lately. Earlier this offseason, he was forced to miss the annual Colorado football camps because of an unspecified health issue. This health scare forced him to travel to Texas for treatment.

Fortunately, Coach Prime appears to be on the right path to recovery. He appeared at the Big 12 media days earlier this month. However, he declined to comment about his health scare.

“I’m not here to talk about my health. I’m here to talk about my team,” Sanders said.

However, in a recent video posted by Well Off Media, Sanders gave a brief health update.

“We’ve been working, we’ve been fishing. My leg is still gone from yesterday morning,” Sanders said (Timestamp 0:45). “You know I’m still going through something, ain’t all the way recovered.”

Health has been a problem for Coach Prime for several years. Notably, he was forced to have two toes on his left foot amputated in 2022 because of blood clots.
