Colorado Head Coach Deion Sanders Makes a Motivational Instagram Post on Friday
Sanders is not hesitant to post on his social media accounts, regardless of whether it is X or Instagram. He will go on social media to talk about anything he wants. On Friday, Feb. 21, he made a post on his Instagram story after finishing a workout. It had a simple caption for his fans.
“Consistency wins.”
Sanders has always emphasized that consistency is important to success. It is clear based on this Instagram post that he still tries to be consistent in his workouts even though he is no longer a professional athlete. He is still in good shape at 57 years old.
Sanders has instilled his work ethic into his kids. Two of his sons are poised to enter the 2025 NFL draft. Both QB Shedeur Sanders and safety Shilo Sanders played for the Colorado Buffaloes but are moving on to the NFL.
Shedeur is viewed as one of the best NFL Draft prospects. Alongside Miami’s Cam Ward, he is viewed as one of the two best QBs in the nation. As a result, he is expected to be a top-five pick in April. However, it is unclear which team will draft him.
Of the teams drafting in the top five, three could use a young QB: the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants. They are also the teams with the first three picks. The New England Patriots, with the fourth pick, have Drake Maye, and the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the fifth pick, have Trevor Lawrence.

The team Sanders has been linked to the most is the New York Giants. There is a belief in the media that the Sanders family would prefer Shedeur to go to a big market like New York rather than a small one like Cleveland or Tennessee.
Shilo Sanders’ draft status is less clear. If he is drafted, it will be in the later rounds. However, there is a decent chance he will need to start his NFL career as an undrafted free agent.
