As the 2025 season approaches, Deion Sanders took some time to relax and unwind with a few friends.
In an Instagram post, the Colorado Buffaloes head coach was in his 5,000-acre estate in Canton, Texas. He was casting some reels alongside former NFL star and Delaware State head coach Desean Jackson, as well as Delaware State assistant WR coach Khalid Abdur-Rahim.

Deion Sanders has been taking some time off from Boulder, mostly spending his time in his $5.5M Texas estate as he recovers from an undisclosed medical problem. He had been battling several ailments, including having developed some blood clots in parts of his body. These clots led to doctors amputating two of his toes in 2022.
Fans were then gushing as the two former NFL stars-turned-coaches relaxed together:
“Game changers,” said one person.
“D in da house,” added another person.
“Glad you’re feeling better Deion!” another person commented.
“Love your choice of music & fishing buddies,” said one commenter.
“Coach em up 🔥 Best move they could have made✊🏾👊🏾,” one person said.
“Living the life! Catch them up!,” added one person.
Desean Jackson acknowledged that it was Coach Prime himself who “opened doors” for himself and past NFL stars to begin a second career as coaches. Sanders was one of the biggest names in football during his heyday, and his transition to coaching has been widely praised.
Aside from Jackson, Coach Prime also went fishing in his estate with one of his former players, Heisman winner Travis Hunter, who Sanders helped mold into one of the best football stars of today. He also posted his relaxing fishing session on Instagram last month.
