Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is getting ready for the Big 12 media days. The media days for the Big 12 will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday. These days allow the media to hear from coaches and other members of each team about how they feel about the upcoming season.
Last year, Deion Sanders and his son, QB Shedeur Sanders, appeared in an interview together at the Big 12 media days. In one of the interviews, Deion Sanders, who is worth $60 million as per Celebrity Net Worth, outlined Shedeur’s strengths while setting high expectations.
“If I give him time in the pocket, he’s gonna rip me up a little bit and I can’t show my hand,” Deion Sanders said. “Like I tell our corner sometimes, guys, stop showing him parallel feet. Parallel feet, he knows it’s cover two. Don’t do that. He’ll check off on you at practice. He’s gonna do that. I can’t give him time. He sees the field really well.
“One of the main things that he does really well and I can say that sitting right by him, he’s a relational man. He forges relationships, not just with his linemen, because they love him to death. He don’t go anywhere with them. The running backs, the receivers, the specialists, everyone on there. They want to play for him, they want to fight for him, they want to ride for him,” he added.

Will Deion Sanders Be at the 2025 Big 12 Media Days?
Deion Sanders has not been available for the Colorado Buffaloes for most of this past month because of unspecified health issues. He was forced to miss Colorado’s annual summer camps at the start of June because he was in Texas dealing with his health issues. Fortunately for the Buffaloes, it sounds like he is returning to his duties soon.
On the “Life and Football” podcast on Friday, analyst Mike Figg spoke about whether Coach Prime will be available for the Big 12 media days.
“They say Coach Prime is going to Big 12 media day, and he is going to be the last coach to get interviewed,” Figg said. “But it makes sense that he goes because he is right there. They say it ain’t but a few minutes to a few hours. So he’s right there. It’s easy for him to go. It ain’t a problem for him to slide over there.”
