Cleveland got a taste of the Prime Time family flair on Saturday as Pilar Sanders and daughter Shelomi pulled up to support Shedeur Sanders in the Browns’ preseason closer. The pair documented the night on Instagram, turning the game into a mini family showcase.
While Shelomi rocked a brown dress with Shedeur’s No. 12 splashed across the front, her mom, Pilar, matched the energy in her own way in an orange printed dress with accessories. Pilar reposted pre-kickoff clips from Shelomi’s TikTok with the caption,
“Heeey guess who – your fav pair @shelomisanders ! #12 Go #shedeursanders,” as the mother-daughter duo flaunted the Shedeur-style outfits.

Inside the stadium, Shelomi shared clips from their seats as Shedeur’s supporters cheered him on. They also shared clips of the field with Browns players lining up for their matchup against the Rams.

While Shedeur didn’t see starting action in the Browns’ QB rotation, with Joe Flacco leading and Dillon Gabriel backing him up, the moment was about the Sanders family bringing its trademark loyalty and presence into the NFL.

Quarterback Picture Taking Shape in Cleveland with Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders
The Cleveland Browns head into roster cutdown week with a quarterback order that’s finally starting to settle. Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed the pecking order for Saturday’s preseason finale, keeping Joe Flacco first, followed by rookie Dillon Gabriel, then Shedeur Sanders.
Gabriel, who sat out the preseason opener, showed promise in Philadelphia. Sanders, meanwhile, made waves with a two-touchdown performance against Carolina before being sidelined last week by a strained oblique. The rookie returned to practice on Wednesday and Thursday and insisted he’s healthy enough to go.
Shedeur Sanders has managed to focus on his effort rather than on where he stands right now. “Do I feel like I have things to prove? Of course,” he said this week. “I’m playing for happiness, I’m playing for the fans, the family, for everybody, for this organization that drafted me.”
He added that the depth chart isn’t his concern, “Whenever it’s time for me to get out there and play, I’m gonna play. When the lights come on, when the pressure’s on, you know who I am…and I’ll always be that way.”
The Browns’ QB situation has another wrinkle with Kenny Pickett. Officially listed as the No. 2 on the depth chart, Pickett hasn’t been able to complete a full practice since the first week of camp due to a lingering hamstring injury. His absence has left the door open for Gabriel and Sanders to make their case.
