Deion Sanders is back with his team over at Boulder, calming some doubts over him actually returning to coach Colorado for the 2025 season because of his health issues. The $60 million worth Sanders (as per Celebrity Net Worth), addressed players and staff, as seen in a video released by Well Off Media ahead of the new season.
In his speech, Sanders told his players he wants all of them to focus on football whenever they are at practice or playing a game. This led to him telling them that he knows all of them, including himself, have some issues going on. In particular, this speech also addressed Deion Sanders’ ongoing health issues, especially after his battle with a cancerous tumor in his bladder.
“When you here, I don’t want you at home. What that means is be where your feet are. When you’re coaching, I don’t want you thinking about the personal stuff. And when you’re at home, I don’t want you thinking about coaching. I want you to give all that to your wife, your family, your kids, everything you are. I need you to give that to them,” he said. “I don’t need you being in two places at the same time. Do you understand? So, what I’m trying to tell you is we’re not going to have a pity party because everybody in here got something going on,” he continued. “But we got to learn to leave it. We call it compartmentalize it and deal with what we got to deal with on the field. Then when we off the field, we got to deal with what we got to deal with because everybody got something going on.”
As Sanders put it, he wants to keep personal things, including his health problems, off the field, and he made sure his players understood that. As he also pointed out, he also wants their personal problems off the field as they enter their 2025 campaign.

Deion Sanders’ Health: Cancerous Tumor Found During Routine Health Inspection
As for how Deion Sanders’ cancerous tumor was discovered in his bladder, he explained during his press conference last week, ahead of the Colorado Buffaloes training camp, that the doctors discovered it thanks to a different health issue.
Sanders has been battling blood clots in his legs for years now, even getting two of his toes amputated thanks to them. Because of his blood clots, he routinely gets health inspections, and this was when the cancerous tumor was found in his bladder.
During the press conference, Sanders revealed that he is now cancer-free and is ready to get back to work. He had taken a long hiatus ahead of training camp and missed several practices and recruiting commitments because of his many health issues.
