After Michigan fired Sherrone Moore for having an inappropriate relationship with a staff member, just two years into his tenure, the Wolverines have now found their new head coach in former Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham.
Some of the names that were swirling on the internet for the job were Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer, Jedd Fisch, Kenny Dilligham, etc.
Talking about the hire, Dave Portnoy, who is a Michigan superfan, applauded the program for the way it conducted its coaching search.
Portnoy said the Wolverines handled the situation in a “top class” manner and didn’t go the immoral route of stealing another program’s coach.
“Moore is facing 5 years in jail, Harbaugh got banned for 10 years from coaching college, Stallions got banned for life, and you just hired Joe Biden as your head coach. You’ve got the pride of a young Jeffrey Epstein.” one fan reacted.
“hahaha that is whole lotta cope – the man was being forced out at Utah, he said he was going to “retire” and now yall give him a 5 year deal – guess he is safe from scandal unlike the last few Michigan coaches…” another fan wrote.
“Doing things the right way”? Cmon man. I can’t tell if you actually believe what you’re saying or just saying this for more comments.” another fan questioned.
“Your school waited to fire a coach who was fucking his assistant and everyone knew for months. Your school was proven to cheat to win. So be sure to keep LSU’s dick out your mouth b/c you don’t have a leg to stand on with all the scandals hitting Michigan.” another fan pointed out.
“Morals” is a pretty ironic subject when it comes to Michigan football the last 10 years, don’t you think?” another fan asked.
“I think the whole world has seen what the Michigan man thing does with all the scandals in Ann Arbor.” another fan added.

Josh Pate Shares His Honest Reaction on Kyle Whittingham’s Hiring at Michigan
Reacting to Kyle Whittingham’s hiring at Michigan, a college football analyst said that he never saw this move happening.
“That’s an upgrade. Now, it may not be the monumental upgrade that some of you hoped, but it’s still an upgrade. You cannot be irate when you upgrade your situation.” Pate said.
Pate further added that Whittingham is an upgrade from Sherrone Moore for the Michigan program; however, he did predict the ex-Utah head coach to be a bridge hire rather than a long-term deal, as he is in his mid 60s currently.
The analyst also shared that he believed Moore, who was put in the middle of the NCAA sanctions when Jim Harbaugh left the team to move to the LA Chargers, was also a bridge hire.
