The Lane Kiffin coaching saga continues to unfold as the current Ole Miss head coach decides on his next college football avenue with an added twist.
With three programs initially vying to sign him since the last couple of weeks, Kiffin spurning on the Florida Gators’ job proposal means LSU and Ole Miss are the only teams racing each other to get a hold of Kiffin.
However, recent reports suggest that Kiffin is leaning towards the much-coveted LSU gig whilst also trying to poach his current coaches, assistants, and recruits to move bases with him.
This thing has gotten so out of control in Oxford, with a number of Ole Miss assistants pretty much having to deal with a critical decision regarding their futures.

This recent development has forced a lot of fans on X to predict Kiffin and Ole Miss’ future whilst also calling out Kiffin for his shenanigans.
“I got news for you. He’s gonna to try and take every coach and player and recruit he thinks is worth having”, wrote a fan.
“Prediction: Lane leaves, takes the staff he wants for no1 competent to coach the team, and takes the players he wants, now the teams is completely different”, predicted a fan.
“Kiffin puts himself before the athletes he recruited. It’s all about him. Why would any recruit go to LSU if they know Kiffin is about Kiffin, not the athlete”, said a fan.
“Why are they letting him back in the building? He has quit on his team”, stated a frustrated fan.
“If Lane does that, he truly is a piece of garbage. And if you are an LSU fan, do you really want this guy representing your school? “, asked a fan.
“Lane Kiffin has been able to carve out the title of college football’s all time scumbag. Congrats coach”, commented another fan.
“Total jerk move”, remarked a fan.
Ole Miss, under the stewardship of Lane Kiffin, has done exceedingly well this season, as they currently occupy the 1st spot in the SEC with an overall record of 11-1. It remains to be seen if Kiffin further coaches Ole Miss into the playoffs considering the dream season they’ve had so far.
Kiffin Issues Ultimatum To Ole Miss Amidst LSU Move: Reports
College football reporter Trey Wallace has further shed light on the entire situation, with Kiffin allegedly putting an ultimatum on Ole Miss, threatening to take the Rebels’ staff away to LSU if he’s not allowed to coach the team during the playoffs.
He’s also reportedly forcing his offensive staff to choose between moving to LSU or staying back for the playoffs.
Lane Kiffin is essentially forcing his offensive staff to choose between coaching players in the CFP and heading to LSU immediately.

Meanwhile, LSU has reportedly offered Kiffin an extravagant $100 million contract spread over seven years, which could perhaps be one of the factors swaying Kiffin away from the Rebels.
