The Oregon Ducks are getting ready to face the James Madison Dukes in the first round playoff game on Saturday. In the days leading up to the game, the Ducks have faced some injury scares, mainly with Dakorien Morre, the freshman wide receiver.
The Ducks have been on a dominant run in the last stretch of the regular season. They finished with an 11-1 record, 8-1 in the conference, and on a six-game winning streak. Moore has missed the last four games.
He is not the only wide receiver to have missed games in the last stretch. Evan Stewart has also been absent from the field. Now that the stakes are high, fans expect to see Moore back in action to take the team forward.
Moore and Stewart were seen practicing with the team on Monday. That was a positive sign for their availability. However, their return isn’t guaranteed yet. As per the new format, the NCAA requires the 12 participating playoff teams to share daily availability reports.
On Wednesday’s report, Moore was listed as “questionable” for Saturday. The Ducks’ receiving unit has suffered a massive blow in the last few weeks. Two other wide receivers are “questionable” on the report, whereas two more are “out.”
This will put a lot of pressure on the program to come up with effective solutions so that its weaknesses don’t get exposed on Saturday. Moore is expected to remain “questionable” right before kickoff.
Moore’s presence during Monday’s practice can still be seen as a silver lining. Even though he remains questionable, there’s a possibility that he might lace up for the Ducks in the playoff matchup.

Dakorien Moore Hints at Possible Return
A day before the game, there’s a lot that’s hanging in the balance for the Ducks. A strong team marred by injuries is looking at some difficult choices ahead. While they desperately want Moore back in the lineup, they wouldn’t want to rush things, which can potentially cause more damage.
Amid the speculations, Moore made a social media post that gave hope to the Ducks fans. The 18-year-old posted a picture of himself with “Back” written in the caption.

It might not seem like much assurance to many, but for the Ducks fans who have been praying for his return, this can be seen as a positive sign. The next few hours are going to be crucial, and fans will be waiting for every positive update regarding Moore and the team.
