LSU Tigers linebacker Whit Weeks had a strong start to the 2025 college football season, but after the game against her girlfriend, Landry Kiffin’s father and Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, he and his Tigers have been way off. Just before the game against Ole Miss, the duo hard-launched their relationship, and since then, LSU has been on a terrible run.
This has led to conspiracy theories from fans, with one fan pointing out what exactly has changed before and after the LSU-Ole Miss game. One fan wrote:

According to several fans’ theories, Whit Weeks got into a relationship with Lane Kiffin’s daughter only so as to get an edge over Lane Kiffin, but the move backfired.
“Somebody is playing massive mind games and need to find out who,” one fan wrote.
“Whit Weeks also shared the pic on his story. Odds of this being a mind game on Lane look even more likely,” one fan added.
“The “i f**ked your daughter too” after a goal line stance is going to hit hard,” one fan commented.
“Lane Kiffin isn’t so slimy as to sic his daughter on a guy to play mind games. Banging the rival coaches daughter, on the other hand, is exactly something a Linebacker would do,” another fan wrote.
“As a girl dad myself, I feel for Lane Kiffin and this betrayal,” one fan wrote.
Lane Kiffin’s Candid Admission on Daughter’s Relationship with Whit Weeks
Whit Weeks and Lane Kiffin’s daughter hard-launched their relationship on Instagram just a week before the highly anticipated showdown between Weeks’ LSU Tigers and Kiffin’s Ole Miss Rebels.
Kiffin talked about their relationship on the “Nonstop” podcast hosted by Kirk Herbstreit days after his Rebels defeated the Tigers.
“I don’t know if I would have handled it as well when I was younger,” Kiffin told Herbstreit. “That’s part of where I’m at. And I just embrace things… This is really a movie or something. This is made for TV when the announcers were talking about it and Landry’s romance with Whit Weeks, and they show his family in the stands, and then he’s throwing up… and he gets hurt, and then he comes back. I feel like I’m watching a movie here.”
It remains to be seen if LSU can get out of this bad luck now that Brian Kelly is fired.
