    Colton Nussmeier Scouting Report

Colton Nussmeier has the quarterback pedigree: QB coach for a dad, elite college gunslinger for a brother, and a wealth of experience at the position.

But he’s more than a high-I.Q. passer. Nussmeier has an elite arm and the same gunslinger mentality that NFL scouts love about his brother.

He’s an elite competitor, and while he’s not overly adept with his legs, he’ll run over a guy near the end zone if the opportunity presents itself.

Nussmeier is a lefty, and his release is quick and smooth. He doesn’t need any extra wind-up to put more juice on the ball when throwing deep or over the middle and he drives the ball when needed.

Unsurprisingly, his footwork is sharp and he’s one of the better quarterbacks you’ll find at resetting his feet to throw once he’s out of the pocket. He’s not going to run often, but he’s not afraid to move when he feels pressure.

A multi-sport athlete, Nussmeier plays basketball, where he’s a standout defender and adept passer on the hardcourt.
