    Julian Lewis Talks NIL

Lewis, 17, recently joined The Pivot to discuss how he has successfully managed his finances during this era of college football.

“I don’t control none of my money…It’s a part of the game…We just blessed.”

Lewis seemed to be reluctant to discuss his financial situation, but he acknowledged how blessed he feels to play in an era when players are making millions of dollars.

Currently, the Georgia native is making over a million dollars as a member of the Buffaloes.

Five-star players will be set up to make millions of dollars because schools want their college football teams to be ready to contend for a national title.

It remains to be seen whether or not Lewis will be named the starter or not.

Can Julian Lewis Become a Starter as a Freshman?

The quarterback battle in Boulder this offseason will take place between Lewis and Kaidon Salter.

Salter is a 22-year-old transfer quarterback from Liberty who has much more experience in college football. He is a former Conference USA MVP and a three-year starter.

Now, he could have the inside track to replacing Shedeur Sanders, who is headed to the NFL.

Also, experienced quarterbacks can make all the difference for teams looking to contend for the College Football Playoff.

He could help head coach Deion Sanders and Co. reach those heights if he ends up getting the starting nod. However, he is going to have to fend off the talented freshman in Lewis.

The five-star signal-caller was a champion in high school and a former Gatorade Player of the Year.

This battle will have plenty of eyes on it, but Sanders will have to make a tough decision once the frontrunner reveals himself in a few months.
